Dr. Victor Carlos, MPT, DPT

Graduated from, Loma Linda University, with a Doctor of Physical therapy degree.

Started his career by opening his own clinic as soon as he graduated from Loma Linda U. where he focused in wound care, pediatric and adult outpatient physical therapy. within a years time he began working with sport teams, including patients from USC football, Profession women soccer teams and semi professional basketball teams. One year later Dr. Carlos opened up his practice to the geriatric community where he added focus on balance and strengthening programs.

“It’s our belief that injury prevention, falls (loss of balance) and injury recovery are 100 percent attributed to manual therapy, education. proper strengthening and endurance exercises.”

Vics Place Physical therapy is run by himself, his wife Elyse and their furry friend Buddy. their focus is still 1:1 manual physical therapy, muscle strengthening and endurance programs. “we treat the patient not insurance.”

When Dr. Carlos is not treating patients you can find he, his wife Elyse, and son Cole surfing RJs, Northside pier in HB or hanging out at San O. state beach. If the waves are non existence you can find them training in their own fully equipped gym at their office.

Dr. Carlos has four kids, Victoria, Kiana, Cole and Jordyn. When you come to Vics Place PT you quickly become a Vics place family member as well.

Queen of the Lefts

Graduated from, California Baptist University, with a bachelors in Kinesiology, exercise science. Then went to, Stanbridge University, for their physical therapy assistant program.

I have been a PTA since 2018, and I love doing what I do. I get to work with my patients to get them to a happier, pain free life. It is the best when patients can finally go back to what they love and when they can even celebrate the small things they have been missing because of an injury.

Started as a soccer player, track girl then got into crossfit during college and loved it for 10 years. Since meeting Vic, I am a surfer :) I love the lefts! Sports and fitness are my passions, and through my own injuries I know how frustrating it can be when you can’t do what you love. That is why I love my job, I get to help work with others struggling in that frustrating state and help them move forward and get back to life.

Prince of Tides

I am a 10 year old German Shepherd. I love coming to work with my owners and meeting all the people.

I love swimming, playing with my toys, and pretty much anything my owners include me in.

Car rides are the best, I will never get used to the excitement of going somewhere!

I am calm when they take me to work on the leash, but once they let me free I am a goofy, playful pup :)

I love chicken treats!!
